Donna Irene;

Photographer, avid traveler, writer and environmental advocate from Live Over Stuff shared this lovely photo of her and her dad from her wedding day 💕

Interview to dad:

Why do you encourage your daughter to travel?

A: Traveling provides the opportunity to create fond memories of different places and cultures which last forever.

What is your concern for your daughter when she visits a new place?

A: A visitor to a new city has little or no knowledge of which neighborhoods are safe by day or by night.

Would he feel more comfortable if she had a friend or someone trustworthy wherever she went?

A: Of course seeing a new city with someone who lives there is much safer, and they can show you great places the locals patronize which are not on the tour guide maps.

Flavia Cornejo; Podcast host and traveler from @Latinastravelerpodcast shared this photo with her dad!

Interview to dad:

Why do you encourage your daughter to travel?

A:Because my dad encouraged me to when I was little and I thought it would be important to do the same with my daughters. “Your mom and I put you and your sister in lots of different activities but the one you both loved the most was travel.”

What is your concern for your daughter when she visits a new place?

A: That my daughter would get kidnapped. Because I know she wouldn’t get lost so if she ever stopped responded to any messages, it would be most likely because of that.

Would he feel more comfortable if she had a friend or someone trustworthy wherever she went?

A: Not necessarily, but maybe in some destinations just because of the language barrier that way they could help guide you and advise you on where to go and what places to possibly avoid.

Caitlin and Claire are both passionate about traveling, Caitlin is an Art historian with great love for languages and stories, Claire is a young flight attendant ready to explore the world!

Interview to dad:

Why do you encourage your daughter to travel?

A:We always encouraged our daughters to travel, to augment their education and expand their view of the world.

What is your concern for your daughter when she visits a new place?

A: Safety is always a concern. We always felt more at ease when they traveled as part of a group or with at least one other person.

Would he feel more comfortable if she had a friend or someone trustworthy wherever she went?

A:This is safer, it provides companionship and dialogue. It is also better to have someone to share experiences with.

Vanessa Karel; Greether Founder and CEO.

I was so lucky to have the support and inspiration from my father who is a great Journalist, avid traveler and great storyteller. I grew up traveling constantly, seeing him travel and prioritizing our vacations as one of our fundamental needs. I grew up reading and hearing stories of places that I was always told I could reach if I wanted to. My parents gave me the confidence I needed at an early age to be independent, curious and kind. This is something I am forever thankful for.

Greether is born from wishing less women would feel afraid to travel the world and giving them a tool for connection and safety.

Interview to Greether’s Founder dad:

Why do you encourage your daughter to travel?

A: I feel happy to inherit my daughters the passion for travel. I am excited to see them exploring new towns, cities and beaches around the world and Mexico. I love when they share their stories and experiences with us through their photos, videos and anecdotes.

What is your concern for your daughter when she visits a new place?

A: I am concerned about how unsafe some cities are, the way that tourism agencies such as airlines, taxi drivers can take advantage of young women. Thankfully not everyone is bad, my daughters have consistently had great experiences with strangers that became friends and that is so valuable.

Would he feel more comfortable if she had a friend or someone trustworthy wherever she went?

A: Yes, it would be great that everywhere they go they have someone who support them, specially if that person is a local and understands the lifestyle there. It can also be very helpful to give you tips on where to eat, where to stay, what to miss and what not to miss.
